Privacy Policy

Realium is built so that most of your work never leaves your computer. This policy explains what does, why, who handles it, and what you can ask us to do. It covers the Realium desktop app, the website at realium.ai and the services behind them.

The short version

• Your projects are stored on your computer. Cleanup, rigging, cloth, animation and export run locally.
• When you run an AI step, its inputs — your prompt and any images or renders it needs — go to our servers and on to the AI model that runs it.
• We keep what we need to run your account and bill AI usage: your license, the AI jobs you ran and their cost.
• The website has no analytics, ad trackers or tracking cookies.
• We do not sell personal data or use your content to train AI models.

What we collect

When you use the app

Projects, meshes, textures and settings stay in folders on your computer. Your license key is kept in your operating system’s keychain. The app talks to our servers only to check your license, list available AI models and run AI steps.

When you run an AI step

We receive the inputs for that step, such as the text you typed, reference images, and renders of your character the step needs, and we return the model’s output. We record each job — the model used, its status, cost and links to its results — against your license, so we can bill usage, show your history and investigate problems.

Your account

Your license key (we store only a one-way hash of it), plan, usage and, when you give it to us, your name and email address. When payments open, payment details are handled by our payment provider; we do not see or store full card numbers.

Email

If you give us your email address, we use it for account emails such as confirming the address, receipts and important service notices.

The website

Our servers log basic request data (IP address, time, page and browser) to keep the site secure and working. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

How we use it

To run the AI steps you ask for, check your license, bill usage, send account emails, keep our services secure, answer support requests and meet legal obligations. Where the law asks for a legal basis, these are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service, and legal obligation.

Who processes it

We share data only with providers that help us run Realium, and only what each needs:

• fal.ai runs the AI models. Your AI-step inputs pass through fal.ai to the model you chose. Model makers whose models run there may include Google, Black Forest Labs, Microsoft, Tencent, Anthropic and MiniMax; the app names the model for every step.
• Resend delivers our emails.
• Cloudflare provides DNS for realium.ai.
• Google Fonts serves the website’s fonts.
• Our hosting provider runs the servers behind realium.ai.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect people from harm, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

How long we keep it

Job records and usage are kept while your license is active and for up to 24 months after, for billing and tax records. Server logs are kept only briefly, for security and troubleshooting. Model outputs are stored on your computer once the app downloads them; links to results on provider servers expire under those providers’ own policies. Email confirmation links expire after 24 hours.

Security

Traffic to realium.ai is encrypted with TLS. API keys for AI providers stay on our servers, encrypted at rest, and never reach the app. License keys are stored as hashes on our side and in your keychain on yours.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop or limit processing. Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and California, you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Write to privacy@realium.ai and we will answer within 30 days. Deleting your data ends your license’s AI access; your local projects are not affected.

International transfers

Our servers and providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

Realium is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by email before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
